**Who is responsible for data collection in this app?**
Processing of data in this app is carried out by the app operator. You can find their contact details in the „Note on the responsible party“ section of this privacy policy.
**How do we collect your data?**
The app is designed so that it **does not transmit any personal data** to us or any third parties. All financial data you enter (expenses, income, accounts, savings goals) is stored exclusively locally on your mobile device.
**What do we use your data for?**
Since we do not transmit any data to our servers, we do not use your data for analysis, advertising, or profiling. The data serves exclusively to provide the app functions on your device (e.g., budget tracking, reports).

The operator of this app takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

The responsible party is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g., names, e-mail addresses, etc.).
### Withdrawal of Your Consent to Data Processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. Since this app does not transmit any data to us (offline-first approach), the need for a withdrawal of consent towards the provider generally does not apply. If you have granted permissions (e.g., camera access), you can revoke them at any time in the system settings of your operating system (iOS).
### Right to File a Complaint with the Competent Supervisory Authority
In the event of violations of the GDPR, the data subjects have a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
### Right to Data Portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. Since we do not store any data centrally, you can exercise this right yourself via the **CSV export function** integrated into the app.
### Access, Erasure, and Rectification
You have the right to view, correct, or delete your data stored in the app at any time. Since all data is stored locally on your device, this is done directly via the app’s user interface. If you uninstall the app and have not previously created local backups, all data will be irrevocably deleted. We do not have any data on which we could provide information due to the architecture of the app.

## 3. Data Collection in the App
### System Permissions
For full functionality, the app requires access to certain system functions:
**Camera Access (Receipt Scanner)**
The app requires access to your device’s camera to photograph receipts and extract amounts and dates using text recognition (OCR).
* **Legal basis:** Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR (contractual fulfillment for providing the app function) as well as your consent.
* **Processing:** Image processing and text recognition take place **exclusively locally** on your device using the Apple Vision framework. No transmission of images or extracted data to server of the provider takes place.
### Local Storage (SwiftData)
All financial transactions, account balances, budgets, and savings goals are stored in a local database (SwiftData) on your device.
* **Type of data:** Income, expenses, categories, account names, balances, savings goals.
* **Purpose:** Providing the personal finance dashboard and analysis.
* **Storage location:** Protected storage area of the app on your terminal device (Sandbox).

## 4. Transfer of Data
A transfer of your personal data to third parties does not take place. Exceptions to this are only functions of the operating system (iOS) that you explicitly trigger yourself:
* **iCloud Backup:** If you have activated the iCloud backup on your device, the app data is stored encrypted in your personal Apple iCloud as part of the backup. We have no access to this data.
* **CSV Export:** When you use the export function, you decide to whom or through which channel (e-mail, files, etc.) the file is sent.

We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always complies with the current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services. For your further use, the then-current version applies.
