**Who is responsible for data collection in this app?**
Data processing in this app is carried out by the app operator. Their contact details can be found in the „Notice on the responsible body“ section of this privacy policy.
**How do we collect your data?**
The app is designed in such a way that it **does not transmit any personal data** to us. The main function of the app (tuning the instrument) is carried out through local processing on your end device.
**What do we use your data for?**
Since we do not transmit any data to our servers, we do not use any of your data for analysis, advertising, or profiling. Access to the microphone serves exclusively the technical functionality of the app in real time.

### Revocation of Your Consent to Data Processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. Since this app does not transmit any data to us, the need for revocation is generally eliminated. If you have granted permissions (e.g., microphone access), you can revoke them at any time in the system settings of your operating system (iOS).
### Right to File a Complaint with the Competent Supervisory Authority
In the event of violations of the GDPR, the data subjects have a right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, their place of work, or the place of the alleged violation. The right to file a complaint is without prejudice to other administrative or judicial remedies.
### Right to Data Portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. Since we do not store any data, this right is technically limited to the data stored locally on your device.
### Information, Deletion, and Correction
Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, their origin and recipient, and the purpose of the data processing and, if necessary, a right to correction or deletion of this data. Since we do not store any personal data on our servers, we have no data on which we could provide information.
## 3. Data Collection in the App
### System Permissions
For full functionality, the app needs access to certain system functions:
**Microphone Access**
The app requires access to the microphone of your device to analyze the frequency of the tones played (tuner function).
* **Legal basis:** Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR (fulfillment of contract to provide the app function) as well as your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR), which you grant via the system dialog of iOS.
* **Processing:** The audio data is processed **exclusively locally** in the main memory (RAM) of your device in real time. There is **no storage** of the audio recordings and **no transmission** to the provider’s servers or third parties.
### Local Storage of Settings
The app stores user settings (e.g., selected Ney type, calibration of A4 frequency, language settings) locally on your device.
* **Type of data:** Technical configuration data.
* **Purpose:** Restoring the desired app state upon restart.
* **Storage location:** Local storage of the end device (iOS UserDefaults / Sandbox). This data is not visible to us.
## 4. Transfer of Data
A transfer of your personal data to third parties for purposes other than those listed below does not take place. We only share your personal data with third parties if:
* You have given your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. a GDPR,
* The transfer is necessary in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. f GDPR to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding protected interest in not sharing your data,
* In the event that there is a legal obligation for the transfer in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. c GDPR, and
* This is legally permissible and necessary in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. b GDPR for the processing of contractual relationships with you.
## 5. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always corresponds to current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the privacy policy, e.g., when introducing new services. The new privacy policy then applies to your new visit.
